For those who missed the Coweta Master Gardeners’ Garden Tour, there’s an opportunity to view other local ponds and gardens. Andy’s Nursery will sponsor their third annual Pond and Garden Tour this Saturday, July 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All ponds on the tour are in Fayette and Coweta counties and can be viewed them at your leisure. When purchasing your ticket you will receive your map. Tickets are $25 for the general public and $20 for Andy’s Garden Club members.
 
For non-members, the $25 ticket will also include membership in Andy’s Garden Club for the remainder of 2006. Garden Club members get a 15% discount on all green goods at all Andy’s Nurseries. Club dues are used to fund community service projects, special events, mailings, and visits to specialty gardens and garden shows.
 
At each pond location, Andy’s will be providing snacks and beverages, greeters to assist in plant identification, professional landscaping teams to answer technical questions and distribution of pond informational materials.
 
For those who already have a pond or are contemplating adding one to their garden, the tour is a great opportunity to scout out what others have done or just to ask questions.
