Chris Harris, shown with Governor Sonny Perdue at a recent event honoring service academy nominees, reported to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on July 6. Harris is a 2005 graduate of McIntosh High School, where he played on the Chief’s basketball teams for four years. He will be joining Jason Williams, another 2005 McIntosh grad, on the MMA basketball team. Harris is the son of Mike and Vicki Harris of Peachtree City.
