In June, boys ruled at the Fayette Art Center. There were nine boys and three girls who attended the Art Center’s summer art camp the week of June 12-16. All the students worked hard on various projects, from photography, wire sculpture, pottery, drawing, watercolor and animation. Kevin MacKenzie entranced them with storybooking and character drawing. Mr. Billy Lee "threw" them a loop with his North Georgia way of making a pot and Donna Rosser amazed them with what a computer can do to their photos. Lydia Ellis instilled confidence in their drawing and painting capabilities.

Pictured celebrating the completion of their pot is Ben Kritko, Mr. Billy Lee, Andrew Alberts, Christian Dacey and Hunter Calhoun.

The Art Center camp runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the month of July. For more information, call 770-461-4494.
