Douglas Farrell, a student at McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, has been selected to participate in the 2006 Grammy Camp. Farrell is one of only 75 students nationally and internationally chosen for this prestigious experience, which is a program of the Grammy Foundation.

Sponsored in part by Shure Incorporated and the Epiphone Company, Grammy Camp is an extraordinary 17-day interactive experience hosted at the Citrus College Entertainment Technology Complex in Glendora, California and other venues throughout Los Angelos, Calif. This year's Grammy Camp offers 14 career tracks with fully-immersive instruction provided by Grammy Award winning and nominated professionals and Recording Academy affiliated industry specialists along with Citrus College faculty. The program explores the creative process and engages students in the technical aspects of performing, recording and distribution while emphasizing new and emerging technologies impacting the music industry.
