The American Legion Post #258, in conjunction with the Augustin Clayton Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, recently held a Flag Retirement Ceremony at the American Legion Post #258 courtyard in Jonesboro. Over 30 local past and present military personnel were honored by having a United States Flag retired in their name. Receiving the flags from Debbie Veal of Stockbridge was John Harper, Chairman of the Flag Disposal Committee.
