Several Peachtree City streets will be repaved this year thanks to funds from the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The DOT contract for the paving funds recently was approved by the Peachtree City Council.

The longest section on the list is on Wynnmeade Parkway, where three-quarters of a mile of the street will be repaved. Another key street on the list is TDK Boulevard, on the section stretching from Ga. Highway 74 to Dividend Drive.

The entire contract covers the cost of materials for the paving work, estimated at $127,631. The Fayette County Public Works Department will again provide the labor and equipment for the projects, with city staff conducting traffic control and cleanup duties.

Other roads on the list include:
• Commerce Drive (from Ga. Highway 54 to Westpark Drive)
• Kelly Drive (from Hwy. 74 to the Flat Creek bridge)
• Fortress Drive
• Kings Court
• Kings Ridge
• Marks Style and
• Paschall Road.
