Margaret Ann Malone, 59, Fayetteville, died July 10, 2006. She was born Feb.11, 1947 in Fulton County, daughter of Murray Carlos and Marguerite Adelaide Wilson Underwood. She was reared in Hapeville, where she met her future husband at the age of eight. She attended Hapeville High School and Georgia State College, pausing to rear her family. Years later, she was graduated from Clayton State with a degree in Accounting, with a 4.0 GPA. She was a member of Crossroads Church Newnan for the past six years. For the past 33 years, she has resided in Fayetteville, working with Porex Technologies between two sessions with the Fayette County Government, totaling 22 years. She has held county positions as county clerk, personnel officer, finance officer, and most recently, elections supervisor. Services are today at 11 a.m. at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Interment will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, William Boyce Malone, Fayetteville; daughters, Margaret Lynn and Steven Thomas Crawshaw, Senoia, and Lorie Ann Malone, Durham, N. C.; a grandson, Justin Szamatowicz, Durham, N. C.; and one aunt. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
