Sybil Platt, 83, Fayetteville, died July 3, 2006. She was born Nov. 16,1922 in Cooke County, Ill. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tommy Henschel, and the Rev. Mike Gable officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, Fred and Cherry Platt III, Dallas; daughters, Linda and Phil Gable, Fayetteville, and Sandra and Raymond Anderson, Covington; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
