Athie Lee Eason, 96, Fayetteville, died June 30, 2006. She was born May 15, 1910 in Carroll County. Graveside services were at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, with Minister Billy Rowe officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara and R. B. Plant, Fayetteville; a granddaughter, Brenda and Allen Cole, McDonough; a great-grandson, Zachary Wilson, McDonough; and a great-great-granddaughter, Tannah Grace Wilson. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
