By: The Citizen
Resurrection House for All Nations, a non-denominational, multi-cultural Christian church in Union City, is sponsoring its Community Day Festival, Saturday, July 15. Union City residents, businesses, and public servants are invited to participate. Activities will include music, food, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, dunking booth, moon walks and other children’s activities, hula hoop contest, watermelon eating contest, balloons and face painting, etc. Vendor tables are available as well. The following day, the community will have an opportunity to formally show their appreciation to Union City fire and police officers for the job they do in keeping the city safe. “Union City is known as the Progressive City and growth is inevitable,” says Chika Onuzo, senior pastor of Resurrection House for All Nations. “Efforts such as our Community Unity Festival help to foster a sense of community harmony and togetherness, and help to revitalize the community. We’re looking forward to seeing all of our neighbors come out and participate.” Members of the community who would like to register in the 3-on-3 basketball tournament or to reserve a vendor table may contact the Resurrection House office, 770-994-3777. login to post comments |
