The future of South FultonMon, 07/10/2006 - 8:39am
By: The Citizen
This map is a representation of the of proposed areas of annexation by the cities of South Fulton County. The areas outlined in red represent the approximate land mass adjacent to East Point which that city wishes to annex. Correspondingly, green represents Union City’s intention, purple represents Fairburn and blue represents Palmetto. The outlined area at the extreme northwest side of Palmetto represents a different annexation by a single land owner. The areas intended for annexation by College Park were unavailable. Cities have until October 30 to complete annexations. The remaining unincorporated areas of South Fulton will vote in mid-2007 on establishing the cities of South Fulton and Chattahoochee Hills. The map is courtesy of South Fulton Concerned Citizens and is located at the organization’s Web site. Photo/Special. login to post comments |
