Good times at region meets lead to hopes for glory at state cross country meets

McIntosh Girls Cross Country
The region cross contry championships were held at various locations last Saturday and three local girls teams and two local boys teams ran away with region titles. There were also five individual region champions in the meets, all of whom have hopes of being crowned state champions this Saturday.

The state meet will take place at Carrollton high School with the Class A boys racing at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Class A girls at 9 a.m. At 10 a.m., the Class AAAAA boys will run their race with the girls following at 10:30 a.m. The boys of Class AAAA will run at 1 p.m. and will be followed by the Class AAAA girls race at 1:30 p.m.
