Mary Kichefski

Mary McDonald “Polly” Able Kichefski, 72, died June 21, 2006. She was born Feb. 28, 1934. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kichefski, parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Abel, and a brother, Alexander B. Abel. She was graduated from Neenah High School in Wisconsin, and attended Florida State University where she was member of Phi Beta Phi Sorority. She was a swim coach for 17 years coaching all levels of swimming from youth through high school and college. She ended her working career as Director of the Foreign Language Lab at McIntosh High School, also ending her coaching career here in February, 2002. Memorial services were at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Steve Kichefski, Lawrenceville; daughters, Deborah Kichefski, and Pamela Roberts, both of Wisconsin; a sister, Patricia Armstrong, Lancaster, Pa.; and grandchildren, Shane Pawlowski, Kenny Pawlowski, Heather Koloso, Justin Roberts, Marshall Roberts, Sarah Kichefski, and Courtney Kichefski. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
