The Fayette County Republican Party monthly breakfast will be July 8 at the IHOP in Fayetteville on Jeff Davis Drive beginning at 9 a.m.

This month will feature several special guests. Ralph Reed, candidate for Lt. Governor will be speaking. Reed is the former state chairman of the Republican Party and is a noted speaker and analysis on FOX News. He was the Southeast region chairman for the Bush-Cheney ticket in 2004 leading to a victory for the President.

Stan Wise, candidate for re-election on the Public Service Commission, will also be speaking. Wise has been chairman of the PSC and has been a leader in holding down utility costs to the consumer.

Karen Handel, candidate for Secretary of State, will also be at the breakfast. She is the current Chairman of the Fulton County Commission. Handel is the former Chief of Staff for Governor Sonny Perdue and worked at the White House for Marilyn and Dan Quayle.

Local candidates and elected officials will be there as well. This is a great opportunity for citizens to meet one on one with candidates and elected officials in an informal setting.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Dutch treat breakfast ordered off the menu will be provided.
