A Riverdale man was arrested this week as one of the participants in an auto chop shop that operated in a warehouse off Ga. Highway 138 in north Fayette County, police said.

Artis Juan Huff, 33, of Bishop Place, was charged with one count of operating a motor vehicle chop shop and 25 counts of theft by receiving stolen motor vehicles, according to Charles Willey of the Georgia Department of Revenue, the lead agency on the investigation.

The warehouse was raided more than a month ago, and the investigation is ongoing, Willey said. Officials said employees of the facility targeted vehicles abandoned on the side of the road, towing them back to the shop and stripping them of parts without the owners consent.

Huff is the fourth person arrested in connection with the case, and police are still searching for a fourth suspect, Willey said. Among those already arrested:

Katrell Muja Wigfall, 26, for one count of operating a motor vehicle chop shop, 25 counts of theft by receiving stolen motor vehicles and one county of possession of a motor vehicle with an altered vehicle identification number.

Terrell Maurice Haji, 33, for one count of operating a motor vehicle chop shop and 25 counts of theft by receiving stolen motor vehicles.

Jeffrey Lynn Henderson, 33, for one count of possession of tools to commit a crime and one count of possession of a motor vehicle with an altered vehicle identification number.

Police are still trying to find Antonio Neville, 31, who also faces charges in the case.

The property is owned by KSP Investments of Duluth.
