Peachtree City Little League is hosting a regional tournament for the 2006 All-Stars, July 1-7. Participating leagues will include Senoia, West Point, Brooks, South Fulton and West Coweta, as well as Peachtree City. The opening ceremony will take place July 1 at the Baseball Soccer Complex on Georgia Hwy 74. Peachtrree City Mayor Harold Logsdon will throw out the first pitch between 9 and 10 a.m.

The Citizen Newspaper is asking coaches and parents to submit scores from the tournament to the web site, www.thecitizen.com. Simply create a username and password and you will be able to serve as a citizen journalist.
