The Fayette-Starr's Mill Chapter of the DAR observed Memorial Day with the Veterans Chairman, Elsie Wendland, placing flags and flowers on two Revolutionary soldiers’ graves in Peachtree City. The soldiers are John Routon and Benjamin Brown. Both graves were marked by DAR chapters before the Fayette chapter was organized. The chapter sponsors the game of Bunco at a local assisted living home every month for veterans and friends. Also, they give a party each Veteran’s Day.
