Barbara J. Ivey, 72, Fayetteville, died June 20, 2006. She was born June 7, 1934 in Fulton County. She was a graduate of Crawford Long School of Nursing. She was one of those instrumental in establishing the Grace Evangelical Church and the Fellowship of Christian Airline Personnel. Services were at the Grace Evangelical Church with the Rev. Mike Stachura, and the Rev. Paul Curtas officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Joe Ivey, Fayetteville; sons, Walter and Rachel Ivey, and Andy and Ana Ivey, all of Fayetteville; daughters, Malia and Dr. Chuck Bergstrom, and Suellen and Andrés Silva, all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Austin, Claire, Elena, Ryan, Bethany, Evan, and Carlos; and a brother, George and Mary Alice Boyd Jr., Atlanta.
