The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints south of Fayetteville will present a program of music dedicated to honoring the United States and the military this Sunday, July 2, at 7 p.m. Current and former military members and their families also will be honored.

The program focuses on signers of the Declaration of Independence and other patriots who pledged their lives and their honor in building up and defending the United States of America and honors the commitment and sacrifices of those who love and support the country.

Those who would like to recognize or honor current, previous or specific military members are invited to bring photos or other memorabilia which will be displayed on a table. Present military members are invited to wear their uniforms and will be honored during a special segment of the program.

Choir members and narrators include participants from congregations of the LDS churches in Fayette, Henry, Coweta and Spalding counties.

This is the 16th annual patriotic choir presentation under the direction of Victoria Wilcox of Peachtree City.

This year’s primary accompanist is Melinda Wilson, a composer living in Fayette County.

The church is at 2021 Redwine Rd., just outside the Peachtree City city limits.
