The time is here and the time is now!

I am a businessman who has not become successful on my merit alone but simply because I have been blessed with an exceptional staff and because I listen. It is no secret that the top CEO’s in business are successful simply because they surround themselves with great people and then they listen. It has been said that experts get the answers right seventy-percent of the time while a consolidated group gets the answer right ninety-percent of the time, thus my idea of “Town Hall Meetings.” I know that I can’t learn anything if I’m talking. A good leader listens.

I will take a business and positive approach to city’s issues. I really don’t care what Steve Brown did or didn’t do, nor do I really care about what Bob Lenox did or didn’t do. Looking in the rearview mirror while trying to drive forward makes absolutely no sense and is nothing more than a waste of time. TIME IS MONEY. Together let’s find resolutions and move forward with TDK Boulevard, Annexation, and the Tennis Center. Each of these issues need to be dealt with immediately.

Other candidates will tell you what they can do. I am the only candidate who has showed you what is possible. You drive by my resume on Hwy. 74 and Hwy. 54 every day. Seven years ago we had two employees and no members. Today, seven years later, we now own real-estate, employee over 130 people, and have over 9500 members.

On Tuesday, November 8, 2005, you, the citizens of Peachtree City will vote for your future and the future of our city. I have been know to say that I am not a politician. It is of my opinion that the only thing politicians do is ask for money and throw fund raisers and say “Vote for Me.” However, I will ask and encourage all voters to visit each candidates website (my website is www.joindar.com) and make an educated decision on November 8th. We all have a responsibility to ourselves and to each other to make educated decisions on voting day. I truly want what we all want...who and what is best for Peachtree City and our future.
