Russell and Suzanne Cooner of Grinnell, Iowa, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jenny Cooner, to Kyle Patten, son of Alan and Linda Patten of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Grinnell High School and a 2005 graduate of Emory University in Atlanta. She will complete her graduate studies at the University of Minnesota College of Law.

The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School in Fayetteville and a 2005 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He is a pilot for Colgan Air.

The wedding will be July 29, 2006, at the Renaissance Savery Hotel in Des Moines, Iowa.

The couple will reside in Minneapolis, Minn.
