Mr. and Mrs. Lee Sundsted of Brasstown, N.C. announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Lee Sundsted, to Matthew Timothy Simmons, son of Tim and Henrietta Simmons of Jackson.

The bride-to-be is a native of Gainesville who recently moved to Fayette County. She was graduated from Fayette Beauty Academy in June and is a master cosmetologist.

The groom-elect recently began a career in technical recruiting.

The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at 6 p.m. at Southern Oaks in Fayetteville.

The couple will reside in Peachtree City.
