Outreach International Center “Fiesta,” with touches of the Hispanic, will be the theme this year for VBS at Outreach International Center, 1091 South Jeff Davis Drive, Fayetteville. All the fun, Bible stories, crafts, and music begin Monday, June 26-30, from 9 a.m. until noon daily. It’s open to anyone three to 13 years of age. To register, call 770-719-0303 and leave the requested information on voice mail. Hopewell UMC Hopewell UMC, on Jenkins Road in Tyrone, invites all children ages four years through fifth grade, to participate in VBS June 26-30 from 9 a.m. until noon. The session is entitled “Holyland Adventure to Bethlehem Village.” Shopkeepers will be on hand to show the children what life was like in Bible times. Fayetteville First Baptist Fayetteville First Baptist Church will have VBS June 26-30 from 9 a.m. until noon, with the theme of “Arctic Edge: Where Adventure Meets Courage.” Registration kickoff activities will be held Sunday, June 25, at 6 p.m. For more information, call the church, 770-461-8378. Southside Baptist Southside Baptist Church will have free VBS June 26-30 from 7-8:30 p.m. for children ages 4-12 years of age. VBS is built around the Mexican theme, “Fiesta: Where Kids Are Fired Up About Jesus.” The program will include Bible stories, skits every night, crafts, music, singing, ice cream, snacks and prizes. Gifts such as shirts and hats will be given each night. To register, call 770-461-1275. The church is at 1332 Ga. Hwy. 92 South, a mile and a half south of the Fayetteville city limits. First Baptist, Peachtree City First Baptist Church Peachtree City will have free VBS, open to the community, with the theme, “Arctic Edge: Where Adventure Meets Courage” June 26 – June 29, from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Children ages four (by Sept. 1) through completed fifth grade are invited to attend. Activities will include Bible stories, crafts, games, snacks, songs and more. Registration and water activities (water games, water slide, dunking booth) will be held Sunday, June 25, from 5-7 p.m. The church is at 208 Willowbend Rd. Fayetteville First UMC “Adventure of the Treasure Seekers: Exploring God’s Promises” is the theme of this year’s VBS at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, scheduled for June 26-30 from 9 a.m. until noon. VBS is for children ages 4 years (by Sept. 1) through fifth grade. Registration fee is $15 and includes a T-shirt and music CD. For information, call the church office, 770-461-4313. Community Christian (Disciples of Christ) Community Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will host VBS June 26-29 from 6-8 p.m. Activities will include a meal served from 5:30-6 p.m. for $4 per person.
