The Real Estate Wealth Expo was held at The Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta recently. The Learning Annex Real Estate Wealth Expo was a two day event featuring keynote speakers Donald Trump, “Rich Dad” Robert Kiyosaki, Tony Robbins, George Foreman and Robert Shemin. With hundreds of exhibitors and 72 seminars, the Real Estate Wealth Expo is a place to get started and excel in real estate investing. Approximately 30,000 people attended the event. Donald Trump spoke for an hour and gave his top ten secret strategies of financial success. As the crowd applauded and the famous tune “For the Love of Money” started playing, Peachtree City resident Melissa Harris was waving goodbye when Trump signaled to the security guard to bring her on stage. Harris stated, "Trump asked my name and what my profession was. [I said] ‘Melissa, and I am in commercial real estate.’ He said, ‘Perfect, let's have our picture made.’” Melissa Harris works with Group VI Corporation, Peachtree City in Business Development/Real Estate. She is actively building the Starr's Mill Professional Center, approximately 40,000 square feet of medical office space, located at Ga. Highway 74 S. Harris said that her goal was to get her business card in Trump’s hand, and she did. Harris stated, "It's exactly what I believe and what has been enforced throughout the weekend; ‘believe in your vision, set goals, have a plan, and never give up.’" While she may have future plans for becoming one of the contestants on “The Apprentice,” at this time she wants to complete Starr's Mill Professional Center and focus on her family, Dr. Peter E. Harris and her biggest rewards and accomplishments- her two girls Ava and Bella.
