J.C. Booth Middle is proud to announce that 47 students, or 12 percent of its seventh-grade class, have met the qualifications to participate in the Duke University Talent Identification Program.

The Duke TIP is committed to identifying academically talented students and to providing model programs and services to support the development of their optimal educational potential. Candidates are identified based on standardized test scores achieved. Qualifying students are invited to complete either the SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT Assessment college entrance examination.

The 7th Grade Talent Search is now beginning its 26th year and is the largest program of its kind in the nation representing a 16-state region. The faculty and staff at Booth congratulate these forty seven students on their academic achievement and are looking forward to continued success in the future.
