WHS pageant coming Nov. 12Tue, 11/01/2005 - 7:01pm

The Whitewater High School Homerun Club is sponsoring a “Womanless” Beauty Pageant and Silent Auction. The crowning of Mr. and Ms. Wildcat Spirit will take place Saturday, Nov. 12, beginning at 4 p.m. Tickets will be $5 in advance and $6 at the door. Tickets may be purchased during lunch in the WHS cafeteria. Contestants will consist of familiar names such as Lt. Col. Bruce Jordan, Mr. Greg Stillions, Head WHS Football Coach Amos McCreary, and other faculty and students of Whitewater High School. The Silent Auction will have many items available for bidding. Some key items will be a signed NASCAR hood from local driver Reed Sorenson, a NASCAR Driving Experience, artwork by Thomas Kincaid, autographed baseballs from Andruw Jones, Marcus Giles, John Smoltz, and others.
