The girls region 4-AAAA team was recently announced and McIntosh and Whitewater are both well-represented on the team.

Whitewater goalkeeper Lisa Wilson was named to the team as was Katie Schwarz as a defender. Schwarz recorded a goal and two assists this season.

Whitewater’s Caitlin Beale was also named to the team as a defender as was McIntosh’s Chelsea Clements. Clements scored a goal and recorded two assists, while Beale had an assist this season.

In the midfield, McIntosh’s Kelsey Quinn and Olivia Tucker made the team, as did Whitewater’s Bailey Powell.

Quinn had eight goals and six assists in 2006 and Tucker had four goals and four assists. Powell netted nine goals for the Lady Wildcats while recording four assists.

McIntosh’s Brittany Schneider was named to the team as a forward. She scored 22 goals and had 15 assists in 2006.

McIntosh head coach Marcia Clark was selected as the region Coach of the Year.
