Can’t say the same about F’ville’s

Thank you, Fayetteville.

I was never more under-whelmed by the great outpouring of your appreciation of the sacrifices of the men and women that are serving or have served to provide you with the freedoms that you so much enjoy today.

All the parades, decorations, speeches, and festivities filled my heart to bursting. Tears welled up in my eyes. I stood taller and straighter as I felt the gratitude that was shown by our great little town.

Just one request: Please, next year, at least fly the flag to at least let us know that we are still Americans. (Without Taco Bell, we would have had no flags at all.)

Or would this “offend” the sensibilities of some fragile “non-American” guest?

To all that are serving or have served, let it be known that all your sacrifices and service is appreciated, even though Fayetteville chooses not to recognize it.
