Mr. And Mrs. James E. Dixon of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittain A’lyce, to Brian Kieth Kruse, son of Mrs. Lillian Kruse and the late Donald Kruse of Haubstadt, Ind.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Lessie Waller and the late Travis Waller of Hawkinsville, and Mrs. Jewel Dixon and the late Edward Burke (Buddy) Dixon, also of Hawkinsville. She is a graduate of Fayette County High School and Auburn University, where she earned a bachelor ‘s degree in early childhood education. She also holds a master’s degree from the State University of West Georgia. She currently is employed with the Fayette County Board of Education and teaches third grade at Tyrone Elementary School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Voegel of Haubstadt, Ind. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kruse of Terre Haute, Ind. A graduate of Gibson Southern High School, he obtained a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. He currently is employed as an engineering manager with Caterpillar in Griffin.

The wedding will be Saturday, June 24, 2006, at the United Methodist Church in Senoia.
