Mr. and Mrs. Bill Buchanan of Brooks announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Elizabeth Buchanan, to Lee Walker Harris of Fayetteville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Harris of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Ward Meyerhoeffer of Warner Robins and the late Mrs. Shirley Meyerhoeffer, and Mr. and Mrs. John Buchanan of Warner Robins. She is a 2001 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia with an A.B. studio art degree. She currently is employed by Meyer-Sutton Homes where she works in design and residential construction.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harris of Fayetteville, and Mr. and Mrs. Barney Walker of Fayetteville. He is a 2001 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2006 graduate of Mercer University’s College of Liberal Arts with a degree in art history and Christianity. He currently works for Walker Concrete.

The wedding will be held at Inman United Methodist Church in October of 2006.
