The Fairburn City Council meeting June 6 may have a short agenda but it will be one that is significant for soccer fans across south metro Atlanta.

Council members will review the revised conceptual site plan for Score Indoor Soccer. The Peachtree City-based company plans to build a 48,000 square-foot indoor soccer facility on four acres along Oakley Industrial Boulevard between Ga. Highway 74 and Bohannon Road. The facility will include two 80-foot by 180-foot soccer fields, a 50-foot by 80-foot training field, concession area and restrooms. Designed primarily for play rather than spectating, the complex will have bleacher some accommodations, according to facility owners Score Indoor Sports.

Other new business at the June 6 meeting includes a presentation of the landscape plan for 74 West Industrial Park.
