The Tyrone Recreation Department will offer a soccer camp, a baseball camp and a rhythmic gymnastics camp for children this summer.

The Challenger British Soccer Camp will be offered June 19-23 and July 24-28 at Shamrock Park. Ages 3-4 will attend the camp from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. each day for a fee of $79, while ages 4-5 will meet from 10 a.m.-noon for a fee of $94. Ages 5-12 will participate from either 9 a.m.-noon or 5:30-8:30 p.m. for a fee of $115 and ages 8-18 can participate from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. for a fee of $170. The baseball camp will take place at Handley Park June 19-22 for ages 6-10 and July 17-20 for ages 11-14. The fee is $150. Staffed by experts from the Dugout Club, campers will be able to sharpen all basic baseball fundamentals such as fielding, hitting, pitching nad baserunning. Phone 770-487-4694 to register.

The rhythmic gymnastics camp will be offered July 24-28 from 1-4 p.m. for ages six and up. Students will work with ropes, hoops, balls, clubs and ribbons, while they explore the ballet side of gymnastics. The fee is $100. Phone 770-487-4694 to register.
