SENOIA AREA LIBRARY KICKS OFF SUMMER READING PROGRAM…Thu, 06/01/2006 - 3:45pm

Author and Magical Storyteller, David Ginn, presents “Secret Tales from a Lost Castle” to kick off the summer reading program “Once Upon a Time…” for The Senoia Area Library. The first of the summer programs will be at the Freeman Sasser Building at the Senoia Park on Seavy Street June 6 at 2:30 p.m. It is for kids of all ages. The rest of the programs will be each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. There will not be a program the week of July 4. Most of the programs will be held at the Senoia Area Library, 70 Main Street, lead by local volunteers. Two other special programs will at the Senoia Park location. They are—June 21 with Eric Litwin, the Music Man and July 12 with Kathy Bennett, Queen Glitter, Stories with Sparkle. This summer the Senoia Area Library is teaming up with the Thomas Crossroad Chick-fil-a and the Kid’s Reading Challenge. The Chick-fil-a cow will be at the Library on June 14 and for our End of Summer Celebration on July 26. Part of our finale will be Puppet Stories for Young Children. login to post comments |
