Students who failed the previous administration of the Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT) will have an opportunity to retake the test this summer.

The test will be given July 17-20 for students who took the previous administration while enrolled in the Fayette County School System. Exam dates for each subject are as follows: July 17, Social Studies; July 18, Math; July 19, Science and July 20, English/Language Arts.

Students must pre-register by June 28 so that the appropriate number of testing materials can be ordered. A registration form can be printed from the Fayette County School System website, www.fcboe.org. The form can be faxed by the deadline to 770-460-3925 or dropped off at the LaFayette Educational Center, Bldg. A, located at 205 LaFayette Avenue in Fayetteville.

The test will be held at the LaFayette Educational Center, Bldg. D, and will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. each day. No one will be allowed to enter the testing area once the test has begun. Test takers must bring a picture ID, #2 pencils and a calculator for the science and math portions. A detailed list of items needed for the test will be given at the time of registration.
