Office Depot is opening its store in Peachtree City with a special donation to three area charities Thursday morning at 11:30.

Company officials will present $500 checks to Promise Place, which assists victims of domestic violence, along with the Baby Peaches and Guitars Not Guns groups.

The store is located off Ga. Highway 54 West.

Office Depot is committed to serving the communities in which it conducts business, officials said.

In addition to the check presentation, there will be a ribbon cutting at the store with representatives from Peachtree City and the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce.
