Len Turner to lead one-day revival at Woolsey Baptist

Dr. Len Turner of Len Turner Ministries in Woodstock, will lead a one-day revival at Woolsey Baptist Church on Sunday, June 4 at 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Turner has a B.A. degree from Mars Hill College at Mars Hill, N. C.; master of divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary at Fort Worth, Texas and an honorary doctorate of theology from Palm Beach Atlantic College at West Palm, Fla.

Turner was pastor of Greenwood Baptist Church in Weatherford, Texas (1970-1972); associate pastor of Cottage Hill Baptist Church in Mobile, Ala. (1972-1975); pastor of Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Jackson, Miss. (1975-1979); pastor First Baptist Church of Merritt Island, Fla. (1979-1987); and pastor of Calvary Baptist Church at Savannah (1987-1995); and vocational evangelism (1997-present).

Turner is a member of First Baptist Church- Woodstock and has led over 900 revivals with over 15,000 professions of faith.

His past service includes: president of the Conference of Georgia Baptist Evangelists; Board of Regents of Luther Rice Seminary; member of Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists, endorsed by Southern Baptist Convention; trustee Lifeway Christian Resources; trustee Southern Baptist Radio and Television Commission; Southern Baptist Committee on Boards; Florida Baptist and Georgia Baptist Committee on Nominations; and trustee Palm Beach Atlantic College.

He has preached before Florida, Georgia and Mississippi state evangelism conferences; preached before Florida, Georgia and Mississippi State Legislatures; and preached before Southern Baptist Pastors Conference.

Turner and his wife, Pansy, have three children and several grandchildren.
