Davis-Bates

Danielle Elizabeth Davis, daughter of Beth Davis of Fayetteville and the late Tony Davis, and Clinton Adam Bates, son of Tom and Barbara Bates of Brooks, announce their upcoming wedding to be held on June 10, 2006.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Clarence Owen of Anniston, Ala., and the late Helen Owen, and the late James and Virginia Davis of Forest Park. She is a 2004 honor graduate of Jonesboro High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, and a cheerleader. She is a Hope Scholar at Middle Georgia College, and will transfer to Auburn University in the fall to complete a degree in marketing. She is employed with Chick-fil-A Dwarf House of Fayetteville and was a 2005 recipient of a Chick-fil-A College Scholarship, having been with the company for four years.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Berby Russell of Fayetteville, and the late Harry Russell, and Lucy Gifford of Conyers and Thomas Bates of New York. A 2003 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School, he currently attends Gordon College but will transfer to Auburn University to complete a degree in business. He has been employed as a manager at Chick-fil-A Towne Center for four years and is a 2004 recipient of a Chick-fil-A College Scholarship. He plans to pursue a career with Chick-fil-A.

The wedding be at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta. After a honeymoon trip to Walt Disney World, the couple will reside in Auburn, Ala.
