Lt. Col. (USAF ret.) and Mrs. Harold M. Edwards Jr. of Centerville announce the engagement of their daughter, Christianna Lee Edwards of Marietta, to Matthew Lance Coffing of Peachtree City, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Coffing, also of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Anna W. Smith of Warner Robins and the late William L. Smith, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold M. Edwards Jr. of Charleston, S.C. She is a 1998 honor graduate of Warner Robins High School and a 2002 cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia, Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications, where she received a degree in advertising. She is employed as a spot media buyer with Carat Media, USA in Buckhead.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude Wise of Camden, Ind., and the late Mr. and Mrs. E. Coffing of St. Louis, Mo. He is a 2004 graduate of the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business, where he received a degree in economics. He is employed as a loan associate with Buckhead Community Bank.

The wedding will be June 24, 2006, in Atlanta.
