Mr. and Mrs. Knute Chauncey of Tyrone announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristy Elaine Chauncey, to Kace Grady Kilgore, son of Janet Boyd of Douglasville and Elton Kilgore of Tallapoosa.

The bride-to-be is a 1996 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of West Georgia with a bachelor of science degree in education. She is a seventh grade teacher and coach at Herschel Jones Middle School in Dallas, Ga.

The groom-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Alexander High School in Douglasville and a 2004 graduate of the University of West Georgia with a bachelor of business administration in finance. He currently is a project manager for Greenway Medical Technologies in Carrollton.

The wedding will be June 16, 2006, at Glendalough Manor in Tyrone. After their honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Paulding County.
