Troop 74 is flying high

Boy Scout Troop 74

Troop 74 of the Flint River Counsel had a once in a lifetime opportunity to tour the tallest air traffic control tower in the world at the world’s busiest airport. Several people were able to attend including Richard and Rick Barfield, Morris, Ina, and Morgan Bell, Michael Coates, John, Aaron, Timur and Nancy Cudnohufsky, Taylor and Craig Daly, Michael and Mike Escarra, Brandon and Cheryl Hambree, Robert and Rob Laughlin, Alec, Evan, and Wendy Marlow, Robert and Dave Palmer, Jimmy and Jim Perdone, Trevor and Barbara Toth and according to all reports an great time was had by all attendees.

Troop 74 is grateful to the FAA employees who gave generously of their personal time to escort troop members and family through the facility on April 29, days before the commissioning of the brand new tower. Some of the FAA volunteers who helped Troop 74 have this opportunity and ensure they had a great time were Gary Jackson, Mike Ball, Susan Ball, Robert Berry, Darrell Brown, Mark Hookings, Garland Raiford, Timur Cudnohufsky, permission and coordination was accomplished by Nancy Johnson-Cudnohufsky.
