Barnwell shines for Clayton State SAM ChapterTue, 05/30/2006 - 12:34pm

Clayton State University students recently participated in the 2006 Society for Advancement of Management International Case Competition in Orlando, Fla. Of 33 participating teams, one of Clayton State’s teams won the second place award in the Open Division competition. One of the Clayton State students participating was senior health care management major Rebecca Barnwell, who will graduate in August of 2006. Barnwell was born and raised in Fayetteville and graduated from Starr’s Mill High School in 2001. Barnwell currently is interning at Piedmont Fayette Hospital under the Director of Med Search 2. Her future plans involve obtaining further education to become a hospital administrator. She transferred from Berry College to Clayton State University in the spring of 2003 to be a part of Clayton State’s Health Care Management program. Barnwell is currently the vice-president of finance for the Clayton State University Chapter of SAM. login to post comments |
