Kathleen Senger, Director of Peachtree City School Of Dance, recently announced that Broadway star Kay McClelland will highlight their summer workshops.

McClelland has appeared on Broadway in the revival of “The Sound of Music” as Elsa Schraeder, in “The King and I” as Anna, in “Crazy For You,” and in “The City Of Angels.” She began her career in Atlanta then moved to New York where she was cast in the national tour of “Sugar Babies” with Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller. She was a member of the original Broadway Cast of “Into The Woods,” has been on concert tour with John Raitt, and seen on TV in “Guiding Light,” “Law and Order,” and “As The World Turns.”

The music theater workshop is designed for students ages 10 and up. Students will focus on dance, singing, and acting with a workshop performance at the end of the weeklong session. There are 2 sessions scheduled; June 19-23 and July 24-28. Class size is limited.
