A community blood drive will be held Thursday, May 25, from 3 - 9 p.m., at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 351 Jenkins Rd., in Tyrone. Sponsors are the church and LifeSouth, a community blood center. Preregistration is required.

Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, have a photo ID, have good general health, and must not have donated blood in the last eight weeks. Donors will receive a free cholesterol screening and a recognition item.
