The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will host Life Line Screening Tuesday, June 13, for non-invasive testing and diagnosing of vascular and bone abnormalities. The vascular screenings use Doppler ultrasound technology and all procedures are painless.

Four tests will be offered: stroke screening/carotid artery ($45); abdominal aortic aneurysm screening ($45); peripheral arterial disease screening ($45); and osteoporosis screening ($35).

The three vascular screenings may be combined for a total cost of $109. All four screenings may be combined for a total cost of $145. Medicare does not, at the present time, cover the cost of these screenings and Life Line does not file insurance claims. Credit cards are accepted.

Preregistration is required and must be done directly with Life Line. Call 1-800-324-1851.
