Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Kendall of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Lee, to Dr. William Benjamin Wince, son of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Wince of Indianapolis, Ind. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruth Murphy and the late G. Luther Murphy of Morrow, Ralph E. Kendall of Alexander City, Ala., and the late Ruby Marie Lee Kendall of Morrow. She is a 1999 graduate of Woodward Academy. She attended Furman University in Greenville, S.C., where she received a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy, and Mercer University in Atlanta where she received a master’s degree in business administration. Beginning in the fall of 2006 she will pursue advanced studies in nursing at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Bates of Cincinnati, Ohio and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kenneth Wince of Indianapolis, Ind. He is a graduate of Carmel High School, Carmel, Ind. He attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., where he received a degree in biomedical engineering and also attended Indiana University School of Medicine where he received his doctor of medicine. He has continued his postgraduate medical training at Emory University in Atlanta. Beginning in the summer of 2006, he will begin postgraduate medical training in cardiology at Vanderbilt University. The wedding will be June 10, 2006, at the First Baptist Church of Peachtree City. login to post comments |
