Everyone is aware that Fayette County has an extraordinarily high number of runners in the area and Run Fit Sports, which opened in the area just two weeks ago, is there to outfit runners of all levels in the right shoe. Owned by Bill Brown and managed by Josh Myers, the saff at Run Fit Sports takes their job seriously and go through many different things to make sure that every runner is outfitted in the best shoe. To start, they prefer that you bring in your old running shoes so they can check out the wear pattern on the bottom of the shoe. Then they use istep which takes a digital picture of the bottom of your foot to see how high or low the arches are and where the most pressure is put on that individual person’s foot. Next, they have you walk the floor to see what your biomechanics are to help determine what foot style you have. They then measure the length and width of your foot to get you in the right category of shoe for your specific foot and also have you run or walk on their treadmill to watch and see how the new shoe is work login to post comments |
