Meet the author social at Heritage of Peachtree

Colonel David W. Irvin, Jr. will speak at Heritage of Peachtree on Tuesday May 30th at 3 p.m. Colonel Irvin is the author of six books that follow his distinguished military career spanning a lifetime.

Irvin served as a command pilot, SNR bombardier, a navigator, a radar operator. He has flown the SR71, U2, B29, B25, B17. Irvin was assigned to SAC Headquarters, 2AF Headquarters, 44th Bomb Wing, 9th BW.

Col. Irvin served combat MSSN 8AF in Korea and Vietnam and was a POW.

As an accomplished author, Irvin has to his credits: “Reconnaissance is Black,” “Escape or Evade,” “Highway to Freedom,” “Special OPS,” “Strategic Drones,” and “A Boy At War.”
Plan to attend and hear first-hand the exploits of this incredible man. The social is 3:00 pm Tuesday May 30 at Heritage of Peachtree. It is free and open to the public.
