The Peachtree City Runing Club will present the 2006 Summer Track Series at the Peachtree City Track and Riley Field, adjacent to Peachtree City Elementary School on Wisdom Road, Tuesday nights this summer.

The series will begin on June 6 and will be held on June 13, 20 and 27, and July 11 before a two day championship meet, July 18 and 19.

The schedule for events is as follows:
• 6 p.m. - registration

• 6:30 p.m. - 800 meter run

• 6:45 p.m. - 50 yard dash (10 and under), 100 meter dash on June 6, 20 and July 11; 200 meter dash on June 13 and 27

• 7 p.m. - One mile run

• 7:30 p.m. - 400 meter dash (run in lanes)

• 8 p.m. - 3,200 meter run, June 6, 20 and July 11; 5K on JUne 13 and 27

• 8:30 p.m. - 4x100 meter relay, June 6, 20 and July 11; 4x400 meter relay, June 13 and 27

• 8:45 p.m. - Pizza at Partners

Events will be run in various heats based on the number of runners in the regular weekly meets, while events will be run in heats based on age groups and sex.

The events are free to both runners and spectators.
