Cindy Dale, president of the South Metro Rose Society, took Queen of Show honors at the Atlanta Rose Society’s annual show last weekend. Her award winning entry, Veteran’s Honors, is one of 184 specimens which are carefully cultivated in her Peachtree City garden. Dale invites area residents to come to the South Metro Rose Show today and tomorrow at Hood Avenue Elementary School in Fayetteville. In addition to enjoying exhibits, those attending will have the opportunity to get advice from local rose growers and to purchase rose bushes and bouquets. The show is open from 1 to 4 p.m. both days.
