Joseph and Margaret Scirrotto of Tequesta, Fla. announce the engagement of their daughter, Marissa Anne Scirrotto, to Brian Clayton Ray, son of Steve and Terry Williams of Sharpsburg.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joseph J. Scirrotto Sr. and the late Mary Scirrotto of Jupiter, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Dee of West Palm Beach, Fla. She is a 1997 graduate of Willam T. Dwyer High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Florida. She is a second grade teacher at Belmont Hills Elementary School in Smyrna.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Otis and Billie Duncan of Locust Grove, and the late Albert H. Ray of Rome and Faye Thomas of Crestview, Fla., and the late Gordon Williams and Laurel Williams of Glenwood Springs, Colo. A 1997 graduate of Morrow High School, he attended Columbus State University. He is an HVAC/refrigeration mechanic at Scott Commercial Services in Newnan.

The wedding will be Dec. 30, 2006, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Atlanta.
